"Suspended in Gold" is a new fine art print for 2025. It will be available until 50 copies are collected, at which point it will be retired. It's part of my Infrastructure Series, which includes paintings: Constructing the Golden Gate, Sunset Over the Coronado Bridge, The Golden Age, and Manhattan at Golden Hour.

Inspiration:  

This is the fifth painting I’ve made inspired by the Golden Gate Bridge, and I know it won’t be the last. There’s something about that iconic structure—the sweeping lines, the bold symmetry, and especially that color, a deep yet vibrant orange-red, officially called International Orange. It’s unforgettable, just like the view I had of the bridge from my dorm room during junior year of college.

Back then, it felt like the bridge was always watching over me, a constant presence during a transformative time in my life. I’d wake up to it cloaked in fog, glowing softly as the sun broke through, or shimmering against a cobalt-blue sky. It was a reminder of connection, strength, and possibility—qualities I’ve carried with me ever since.

This painting isn’t just about the bridge itself; it’s about what it symbolizes. It’s a love letter to the past, to those formative years, and to the color that never fails to inspire me.
