Meaning: For this work I wanted to explore more of the feeling of nostalgia. To me it feels like the 90s, which is the era I grew up in. I think of bright pinks, teals, yellow, purple, lime green, and a lot of plastic in those colors. I think of Barbie, Polly Pocket, My Little Pony, and board games. This painting embodies childhood nostalgia for girls toys.
