Inspiration:

I saw the "Wicked" movie, felt its creative energy, and couldn’t wait to get home and start painting.

One of my favorite things about film is soaking in the imagery of the costumes and sets. The vibrant colors of the costumes, the textures of the dorm walls, and the intricate details of the fictional buildings in Wicked inspired me so much. This painting captures the heart and soul of the movie, and I hope that viewing this painting takes you to the movie in your memory. Did you notice my ode to the Yellow Brick Road?
