This collection is my declaration.
For a long time, I let fear steer the wheel. OCD has a way of convincing you that avoidance equals safety. If I just stay small, quiet, and careful enough, I'll be okay. Suddenly, I've built a life around surviving, not living.
But here’s the thing: survival isn’t the same as being alive.
It’s Now or Never was born out of a promise I made to myself. I wouldn’t let fear, fatigue, or flare-ups define me anymore. That even on the hard days, I'd create. I’d keep moving forward, keep growing, keep reaching toward joy. I'd stop wallowing in what if's and hating myself for mistakes I've made in the past.
I’m in the city that sets my soul on fire. I’m surrounded by people who see and love me. I’m standing on my own two feet again, and for the first time in a long time, I believe in a future that’s bigger than my past.
These paintings explore the most challenging aspects of my life, the fears I carry, the patterns I’m trying to break, and the hope that keeps resurfacing anyway. I’m pulling the curtain back even more this time, letting you see not just the art, but the innerworkings of the artist behind it.
