Inspiration: As the days get colder, I find myself reaching for the brightest, most saturated color, neons that cut through the gray. They lift my mood, but more than that, the way they interact on the canvas brings a sense of childlike nostalgia, like flipping through a favorite picture book or unwrapping a fresh set of markers. When the world feels heavy, when I struggle to accept what I can’t change, I turn to color. It reminds me that hope is something I can create. This painting represents hope for me.
