It is then boxed or crated to ensure it arrives with you in perfect condition. You will receive a tracking number as soon as it is shipped. All originals travel by insured courier unless you're local to the Portland, Oregon area, in which case I can hand-deliver them to you and you'll get a discount for local delivery.

RETURNS: Original artwork can be returned (insured) at the buyer's expense, provided it is undamaged and in all its original packaging within 10 days of delivery. No returns on sale/discounted items.

GUARANTEE: Your artwork will arrive in pristine condition, securely packaged and carefully handled. Each painting is insured in transit. In the extremely rare event that your artwork doesn't arrive in perfect condition, I have a 100% satisfaction guarantee for your peace of mind. Contact me within 24 hours with details and clear photographs of the damage/quality issue, and I will resolve it promptly.

INSPIRATION: Can you spot the ship in the top left of the composition? The meaning of this work is that even when nothing in your life is going well, and you feel like you are drowning, you remain hopeful that a metaphorical ship on the horizon is coming to save you.

I rely on this mantra all the time because chronic pain sometimes puts me in a dark place. I always remind myself that there's so much to look forward to and there is always hope.

This piece is also inspired by the music of Greta Van Fleet. My favorite album by them, The Battle at Garden's Gate, was playing while I made this piece, and is ultimately named after their song "Caravel," because of how it makes me feel.

About The Artist..

I'm Leah Nadeau, and I make abstract acrylic paintings shaped by three things I can't separate from how I see: a deep love of architecture, a film school education that taught me to see the world differently, and chromethesia, which means I see colors in my brain when I hear music. Each piece is an original, made slowly, one at a time, built to anchor a room and quietly change how it feels to be in it.

Rooted in Mid-Century Modern Design and themes of resilience and joy, my work becomes the focal point around which collectors build entire spaces.

Featured in Atomic Ranch Magazine, exhibited at Modernism Week, and permanently installed at the Henry Ford Health Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan.
