Inspiration: Recently I started a new ADHD medication.

My body felt like it wasn’t mine. I was dizzy, nauseous, wired and exhausted at the same time. Coming off that medication was no joke. Everything felt too much. I just wanted it all to stop. 

Except painting.

Painting was the only thing that held me down. The brush in my hand reminded me I was still here. That I could still make something beautiful in the middle of the storm.

This piece came out of that moment. Not in spite of it, but because of it. It’s the proof that even when my mind turns on me, my art never does.
