Have you ever noticed how memories don't come back all at once?
They return in fragments. A color. A building. The feeling of a place. A conversation. A piece of music. We remember moments, not perfect photographs.
That's what inspired my new collection, Small Fragments.
Every painting begins with pieces of real experiences: architecture I've admired, songs I've loved, films I've watched, places I've traveled, moments with friends and family, all that stayed with me. None of the places I paint actually exist. They're imagined worlds assembled from fragments of memory.
