 Inspiration: 

I named this painting “Stratocaster” because its bright red tones remind me of my sister’s Fender guitar from when we were growing up. I always looked up to her and thought she was so cool, strumming away on that guitar. I wanted to be just like her, so I picked up the drums—probably because they were loud enough to match her energy. That bright red guitar is tied to so many memories, blending nostalgia with the imagery that’s shaped my art over the years. It’s a piece of our story, woven into the colors and movement of my work.
