Inspiration: I love being vulnerable with the world and telling my story, and sometimes I feel like I have disarmed myself. I let everyone in, and it can feel overwhelming to be transparent about what I’m going through all the time, but as an artist I think it’s important to be vulnerable with the world.

For her, Petals For Armor means that the best way she can protect herself in the public eye is by being vulnerable and speaking her truth. Her explanation of the album title really resonates with me and my purpose in life.
