“Behind My Eyes”

Size: 6 x 6 x 1.5 inches, acrylic and oil on canvas, with the sides painted blue. Because it’s so tiny, no wiring is required, just pop it on the wall with a nail, command strip, or it can be stood up on a shelf.

Inspiration: When I try to imagine what the inside of my right brain looks like, this is it. I imagine a flurry of shapes that move around in vivid colors that come together to tell a story. This is what fuels my creativity. This is why everything comes out looking like a mosaic. Of course, I’m sure what it really looks like is a lot less beautiful, but because I’m a creative, I put my own spin on everything. So when I finished this painting I went, I bet this is what my brain looks like!
