16 x 20 x 1 inch, this piece is named after the butterfly of the same name. I have always loved them, they remind me of my childhood.

This entire collection is dedicated to my grandfather, Lawrence Irving Kruger. Since his passing I’ve been exploring the relationship between negative space and linework and the childlike wonder it brings. Neutral colors are comforting me in this time, so I continue to work with them.
