Ode to Kandinsky

This work is made with professional acrylic paint and ink. It’s 18 inches tall by 24 inches wide on gallery wrapped 1.5 inch thick canvas.  

 Inspiration: This work is inspired by imagery from The German Expressionist art movement that was before WW1. I took the angular, harsh imagery and put a colorful spin to create a bold, more positive expression to the work.
