Technicolor

This work is made with professional acrylic paint and it’s 30 x 24 inches on gallery wrapped 1.5 inch thick canvas. 

The last photo on the listing is the color palette of the main colors in this painting in hopes of eliminating color discrepancies on screen. 

Inspiration: 

"Technicolor" began its journey a year ago, but I just completed it this weekend. I often start paintings and don’t know how to finish them, so they end up tucked away in my closet. With ADHD, sometimes I forget they even exist.

But then I rediscover them, and often I've grown enough to figure out what they needed all along. This painting is a perfect example of that!

I named it "Technicolor" because it reminds me of how life feels when you’re struggling, everything dull and muted—then one day, you're on the other side, and suddenly the world is full of vibrant color again. It’s also a nod to the debut of Technicolor in film, where movies transitioned from black and white to rich, vivid color. It felt like a fitting metaphor.
