Inspiration: 

Turning the Kaleidoscope isn’t just a painting—it’s the moment everything shifted for me. For years, I felt like I was circling around my voice as an artist, experimenting and searching but never quite landing. Then, with this piece, it clicked.

It was like holding a kaleidoscope up to the light. The same shapes and colors I’d been working with suddenly rearranged into something new—something truer. I felt my art deepen. The layers became more intentional. The movement more dimensional. And for the first time, I saw myself not just as someone making paintings, but as an artist stepping fully into her style.

This canvas holds that breakthrough. Every time I look at it, I remember the exact feeling of finally arriving—of realizing my work could carry more weight, more joy, more of me.
