Before college I was much different to the Leah you know today. - Studying contemporary art history helped me discover my passion for art and it made me embrace expression in my life. - I started living more boldly. I dressed to stand out, I voiced my opinions at any chance I could. I spoke up when there was injustice, I said no when things felt icky or wrong. I started taking more risks. I began volunteering when I felt guilty for having luxurious items when some people didn’t even have a home. - This new Leah made me damn proud to look at herself in the mirror at night. - Art truly set my passion for life on fire, and made me take that leap to an authentic life and every single day I celebrate it by painting. - Joan Miró, The Birth of The World (1925)
