"Born to Be Brave"

"Born to Be Brave" is a new fine art print for 2025. It will be available until 50 copies are collected, at which point it will be retired. It's part of my Infrastructure Series, which includes paintings: Constructing the Golden Gate, Sunset Over the Coronado Bridge, The Golden Age, and Manhattan at Golden Hour.

Inspiration:

 I used to think bravery belonged to other people. That it was loud, effortless, something I just didn’t have. But after some reconsidering, I see it differently. I was brave all along—I just didn’t realize it. Holding my ground, speaking up, standing firm in what I believe—that’s bravery too.

Now is the right time—the only time—to say what I mean and not back down.

This painting is about that. About being unapologetically yourself, even when it’s hard. Even when the world pushes back. Even when staying quiet would be easier. I hope it inspires you to be brave too.
