"Blue Lagoon" is a captivating 12 x 12-inch acrylic and oil pastel painting on paper. It can come either framed and ready to hang, or unframed as is on paper. The last photo on this listing is the color palette of the main colors in this painting in hopes of eliminating color discrepancies on screen.

Inspiration: When I lived in the UK getting my masters degree, I took a vacation to Malta and Gozo. If you haven't heard of it, it's a tiny country on the Mediterranean with the most blue waters I've ever seen. Dark, rich, azure-colored waters and sandy-colored architecture come together in Malta to create the perfect color palette to memorialize their Blue Lagoon. As soon as I mixed these colors on the palette, I knew I was drawing memories from my trip in 2015.

Framing: if you choose to collect this painting framed, I will reach out to you within 24 hours of your purchase to confirm the color that will best match your home. Frames are custom built according to each painting.

Shipping: The shipping cost is included in the price unless you're international.

Each painting is carefully packed to ensure its safe arrival and insured for the valued amount. All paintings come ready to hang on your wall unless otherwise noted, signed on the front, dated on the back, and come with a certificate of authenticity for your records.

About The Artist..

I'm Leah Nadeau, and I make abstract acrylic paintings shaped by three things I can't separate from how I see: a deep love of architecture, a film school education that taught me to see the world differently, and chromethesia, which means I see colors in my brain when I hear music. Each piece is an original, made slowly, one at a time, built to anchor a room and quietly change how it feels to be in it.

Rooted in Mid-Century Modern Design and themes of resilience and joy, my work becomes the focal point around which collectors build entire spaces.

Featured in Atomic Ranch Magazine, exhibited at Modernism Week, and permanently installed at the Henry Ford Health Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan.
