It is then boxed or crated to ensure it arrives with you in perfect condition. You will receive a tracking number as soon as it is shipped. All originals travel by courier, insured, unless you're local to the Portland, Oregon area, in which case I can hand-deliver them to you.

RETURNS: Original artwork can be returned (insured) at the buyer's expense, provided it is undamaged and in all its original packaging within 10 days of delivery. No returns on sale/discounted items.

GUARANTEE: Your artwork will arrive in pristine condition, securely packaged and carefully handled. Each painting is insured in transit. In the extremely rare event that your artwork doesn't arrive in perfect condition, I have a 100% satisfaction guarantee for your peace of mind. Contact me within 24 hours with details and clear photographs of the damage/quality issue, and I will resolve it promptly.

INSPIRATION: The painting was completed for the first time in 2020. Then I gave it another life in 2024. In 2026, I grabbed a bunch of old paintings to paint over, including this one, but I decided it didn’t need a coat of white; it needed to be updated to reflect my current skills and style. I started working on it in January 2026. My goal was to bring it with me to Palm Springs for the Modernism Show, but I couldn’t figure out how to “solve” the puzzle until recently. This painting has had 3 different faces, each representing a different era of my style. The end result reminds me of my first Ever Mid Century Modern Collection, the Retro Summer series from 2018. The paintings all had names relating to disco or fiesta, hence, this painting's name is a throwback.

About The Artist..

I'm Leah Nadeau, and I make abstract acrylic paintings shaped by three things I can't separate from how I see: a deep love of architecture, a film school education that taught me to see the world differently, and synesthesia, which means color has always sounded like something to me. Each piece is an original, made slowly and one at a time, built to anchor a room and quietly change the way it feels to be in it.

Rooted in Mid Century Modern Design and themes of resilience and joy, my work becomes the focal point that collectors build entire spaces around.

Featured in Atomic Ranch Magazine, exhibited at Modernism Week, and permanently installed at the Henry Ford Health Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan.
