DESCRIPTION: 6 x 6 x 1.5 inches; acrylic and oil on canvas, sides painted blue, wired and ready to hang. Exhibited at Palm Springs Modernism Show 2026.

INSPIRATION: I've been on Zoloft since I was 15. It's a daily struggle to remember to take it. When I finished this painting, I thought, "Oh man, I forgot to take my antidepressant," and it felt serendipitous. Part of my struggle in life is remembering to take every single medication I take. It's a vicious cycle.

SHIPPING

Shipping is included with every original painting. Your artwork will be carefully packed, fully insured for its purchase price, and shipped within 10 business days. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as it is on its way.

DELIVERY

Depending on your location, delivery may take up to three weeks from the date of purchase.

If your painting arrives damaged, please contact me right away and keep all of the original packaging so I can help resolve the issue.

RETURNS

Returns are accepted. Please contact me within 14 days of delivery to begin a return. The painting must be returned in its original condition and packaging, using a professional shipping service with tracking and insurance for its full value. Return shipping and insurance are the buyer’s responsibility. Approved returns must be shipped within seven days of contacting me. Your refund will be issued after the painting arrives safely and its condition has been confirmed.

Packaging

Original artwork comes signed and wrapped in paper, with layers of protective packaging, before being boxed so that it arrives in pristine condition, ready for you to hang. Each original includes a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist for provenance.

About The Artist

I’m Leah Nadeau, and I create original abstract paintings for people who want their homes to feel unmistakably like their own.

My work is shaped by architecture, midcentury modern design, my film school background, and synesthesia, which means I experience music as color. Every painting is made slowly, by hand, and one at a time.

Filled with color, joy, resilience, and a little weirdness, these paintings aren’t meant to disappear into the background. They become the piece you build the entire room around.

My work has been featured in Atomic Ranch Magazine, exhibited at Modernism Week in Palm Springs, and permanently installed at the Henry Ford Health Cancer Institute in Detroit.
